Welcome to Day #6! I hope you’re starting to get comfortable with the exercises and I hope you might even be looking forward to each new day in the challenge!
So many times throughout our lives we’ll hear “we’re our own worst critic” or “we’re hardest on ourselves”. And it’s so damn true. Why IS that??? Just the other day I participated in a vision workshop and one of the leaders said something to the affect of “why can’t we talk to ourselves the way we talk to someone we love???” And that is such a great question!
And #truthbomb……I don’t have an answer. Except that we really are hardest on ourselves.
Another #truthbomb? We need to just stop! Stop criticizing. Stop finding fault. Stop comparing. Stop holding grudges against ourselves!
Today’s exercise question had my writing a damn book. Seriously……my list was L O N G!
It made me sad. It made me angry. It made me a little confused. It made me hesitant. But mostly it made me FEEL FREE.
I wanna know what it makes YOU feel.
Again. Don’t hide from it. Let your heart feel and be honest with yourself! Today’s challenge is more of a statement…….
